Ingredients

  • 6 Arnott’s Salada Sourdough crackers
  • 110g butter, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 300g white choc melts
  • Red gel food colouring
  • Sprinkles to decorate

Preparation

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a 34cm x 24cm baking tray with foil, then baking paper.
Step 2
Arrange crackers over base of tray (2 across and 3 down).
Step 3
Combine butter and sugar in a medium saucepan over low heat until melted and sugar has dissolved. Increase heat and bring to the boil for 5 min or until thickened and bubbling.
Step 4
Remove from heat. Pour mixture over the crackers. Working quickly, use a pallet knife to spread evenly to cover.
Step 5
Bake for 5-6 min until golden and bubbling.
Step 6
Place melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium heat for 1-2 min or until melted. Separate melts into 2 bowls. Add a few drops of red food gel into 1 bowl and stir to combine.
Step 7
Place dollops of the melts over the crack and spread with a pallet knife or skewer. Sprinkle with decorations.
Step 8
Chill until set. Break into pieces to serve.
